Before you enquire
What does BSK Media specialise in?
Automotive and motorsport, fight nights and events, real estate and interiors, and watches and product. The common thread is difficult light: most of the work happens after sunset.
Do you shoot at night?
Yes, and it is the core of what we do. Floodlit pit lanes, carpark meets under sodium light, and fight cards lit only from over the ring. Low light is where most photographers stop shooting, and it is where a considered frame earns its keep.
Where are you based, and where do you travel?
Based in Sydney, New South Wales. We cover Greater Sydney and travel to regional NSW.
How fast is turnaround on a shoot?
Forty-eight hours is typical. For a fight card it is next morning, because by the weekend the result is old news.
Can you build the website as well as shoot for it?
Yes. We build fast, hand-coded sites for small businesses, and photography and site can be booked together as one job rather than two briefs and two invoices.
What does a shoot cost?
Photography starts at $100 for a studio product session, $280 for a standard real estate listing set, $450 for a half-day automotive shoot, and $650 for event or fight night coverage. Video starts at $800 for a one-minute promo, shot and cut. A complete website starts at $500. Everything is quoted properly once the scope is clear — frame count, travel and turnaround are what move the number.
How far in advance should I book?
Two weeks of notice is preferred. Shorter lead times are often possible for event and fight night coverage.
